Madani Sow, 52, was appointed in May 2008 as Chairman of Bouygues UK and Warings, the two Bouygues Construction subsidiaries operating in the building sector in the UK.
Madani Sow holds a Master's degree in Mathematics and is a graduate of Ecole Spéciale des Travaux Publics (ESTP) and Centre des Hautes Etudes de la Construction (CHEC). He began his career at Bouygues Construction when he joined Bouygues Bâtiment International as a site engineer for Riyadh University in December 1981. In 1987, he moved to Bouygues Bâtiment Ile-de-France, working in the renovation branch, where he gradually rose to the upper echelon of site management. In 1995, he was made CEO of Screg Bâtiment, which later became SBB (1999) and then CPI (2002). In 2005, Madani Sow, already at the head of Construction Privée, also took over the executive management of Habitat Résidentiel (Bouygues Bâtiment Ile-de-France).
