Martin Tricaud

Managing Director, Global Head of Multinationals, Global Banking, HSBC

Martin Tricaud was appointed Global Head of Multinationals for Global Banking in May 2008 to lead and coordinate a new initiative with this important customer group. He is also Global Banking Co-Head of Coverage for the CEE/CIS and Eastern Mediterranean countries.

Prior to taking up his current role, Martin spent eight years in the Middle East. His last role in this region was Regional Head of Corporate Banking based in Dubai, prior to which he spent four years in Cairo successively as CEO, CCF Egypt and Senior General Manager, HSBC Egypt. Martin joined CCF in 1988. His last role at CCF was Head of Project and Export Finance.

He graduated from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris and has a Masters in Law from La Sorbonne University and a Bachelor in History from Paris X Nanterre.

He is a Director on the Boards of HSBC Russia and HSBC Greece.
